We were really proud to work in collaboration with Cafe Chula, a new Mexican style restaurant in Camden Lock which offers a wide range of tequila and mezcal and good quality Mexican cuisine and Spanish tapas.
Cafe Chula run a project which involves training up bartending students mainly from the Scandinavian countries where they come over to London to explore, party and learn the art of bartending. This project runs all year round and the students change every month. This month Cafe Chula were training up ten bartending students from Sweden.
We were asked to cover the flair bartending part of the course with our flair masterclass whilst they dealt with the cocktail training, bartending skills and practical side. The students from Sweden had already spent 28 days training up in Cafe Chula so they were ready to move on to the most fun and entertaining part of the bar world –the flair!
It was a sunny day so we took our flair masterclass out from the venue to the great outdoors in Regent’s Park where we went through the basic working flair moves and developed this into a routine. It was good to make use of all the outside space which when having ten people to teach was very much needed!
It was a lot of fun and the large group entailed a lot of competition between the students which made them constantly improve their flair skills. The results were really great so we will continue on with our collaboration with Cafe Chula and cannot wait for our next flair masterclass in March.
So if your looking to learn the art of flairing or want your staff to learn how to flair then why not book one of our flair masterclasses and join in the fun.
