Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions:

Can I invent or choose my own cocktails?

Yes our cocktail menu is just a popular selection that we recommend. You are free to pick whatever it is you would like for your event. We encourage creativity!

Do you do non alcoholic cocktails?

Yes these are known as ‘mocktails’ and are just as tasty. Just have a look at our mocktail section on our cocktail menu.

How many cocktails can I pick for the event?

We would recommend 5 cocktails to include 1mocktail. This is so you do not have to buy a big list of ingredients and it will also make the event more manageable for the barman.

Can I just hire a bartender without hiring a bar?

Yes. Just make sure you have somewhere suitable they can set up and work.

Can I mix flair bartenders and mixologists?

Yes of course. Our services are flexible and you can pick and choose whichever you need for your event.

Do you charge VAT?

No we are not registered for VAT.

There won’t be many of us at the event. Is that a problem?

Only our cocktail masterclasses have a minimum number of people required to secure a booking. Our bartenders to hire are paid on an hourly basis so it does not matter how small your party is.

Do you provide a complete bar package?

Yes we can provide the full works to include bartender hire, cocktail ingredients, glassware and mobile bar hire.

If my party overruns will that be a problem?

You would need to agree this with the bartender on the night to see if they are available to stay the extra time. If they can stay then let us know how many extra hours they stayed for and we will invoice you accordingly.

How much do I need to pay to secure the booking?

We ask for a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking.  The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the event.

What if I need to cancel do I get a refund?

If you have to cancel the event and you have paid a 50% deposit this is unfortunately non refundable.  This is due to us securing the booking, incurring administration costs and not being able to book other events for the date.

If you have already paid 100% we will refund you a maximum of 50% back.

What if you need to cancel?

If we have to cancel the event we will give you back all that you have paid.

How much room will the flair bartender need?

We ask that you create as much space as possible which should be least an area of 2m x 2m. Please also avoid any areas with low ceilings.

How much will the ingredients be?

This depends on which cocktails you choose. We recommend picking cocktails with the same base spirits i.e rum based cocktails, gin based cocktails to save money on the spirits which are usually the most expensive ingredient.  If you do not want the hassle of picking the ingredients then we are happy to cater the event.

Will you send me a shopping list of ingredients?

Yes we will provide you with list of everything you need to buy.  Please buy everything for the list and if you have any problems finding anything then let us know. We are here to help.

What glassware would you recommend?

The glasses depend on which cocktails you choose. We will let you know the most suitable glasses once you have picked your cocktails. A lot of supermarkets now hire out the glasses for free and there is just a breakage charge on return if any are missing or broken. We will let you know the best options available when you make your booking.

Do I need to get any bottle openers or tools for the barman to use?

No our barman will come fully equipped. Just ensure you provide a bin nearby.

Can I choose how my barman dresses for the event?

Yes please let us know when you make the booking. Our bartenders will normally wear black trousers, black shirt, tie and waistcoat but this can be changed to suit your event.
